If the due date is approaching for an item you borrowed through Interlibrary Loan, log in to your ILLiad account and find the item you want to renew under the list labeled Received Items. Click the Actions button and select Renew in the drop down list. We will receive this renewal request and will ask the library that lent us the item for a renewal; however, renewals are at the discretion of the lending library, so we cannot guarantee that they will renew the item or what the length of time the renewal might be for.

If the Renew option is grayed out, it means that the lending library will not accept renewal requests or the due date has passed and the lender is unable to accept a renewal request. Please select Clone Request to create another request for the same item and we will get another copy for you as soon as possible.

If you have questions, please contact the Resource Sharing Office (CU-RSTEAM@LISTS.CLEMSON.EDU or 656-5186).

Please remember that requesting renewal in a timely manner is essential to our being able to borrowing material from other universities for your fellow faculty, staff, and students here at Clemson.
