To get a physical item that is on course reserve (books, printouts, etc.), please ask us at the Library Services Desk and have your Clemson ID with you. Electronic course reserves are available through the Blackboard course.
Materials (books, articles, class notes, solutions, sample tests, etc.) selected by faculty members may be placed "on reserve" for for use by students in their classes for a semester. These materials may be made available in print or electronically.
Students, faculty, and staff with a valid Clemson University ID can check out materials placed on reserve for courses. Alumni and community borrowers with a valid courtesy borrowing card have privileges limited to library-use-only Reserves.
Checkout periods for Reserve materials vary from two hours to two weeks. Some material may be restricted to Library Use Only.
Most reserve materials have hourly or daily loan periods and fines are assessed at $1 per day or hour accordingly.
