If the item is available, we can hold it for you at the Library Services Desk.
- Log into your library account
- Search the catalog for the item you want
- Click on the request button
- Visit the Library Services Desk with your Clemson ID once you get your email notification
You will receive an email once your requested item is ready for pickup. Please allow up to 24 hours for your request to be processed.
If a book is already checked out and the due date is more than two weeks away, you can request a recall/hold using these same instructions. The person who has the item already is guaranteed two weeks but must then return it. You'll receive an email when the item is ready for pickup. All books are subject to recall.
If you don't return a recalled item by the specified date, you will be charged $1.00 per day late fee and not be able to check out or recall anything else.
Please note that recall requests take precedence over hold requests.
