We follow the principles and guidelines set forth in our Collection Management and Access Policy to select, purchase, and evaluate library materials in print and non-print formats.
Our primary goal is to meet the instructional, scholarly, and research needs of students, faculty, and staff of Clemson University. Routine decisions regarding collection management are normally delegated to subject liaison librarians, who maintain Subject-Specific Information Access Policies. Any library user may recommend material to be purchased, subject to review by the designated subject liaison and the availability of funds.
