Study Zones
Cooper Library has two color-coded study zones to accommodate users with different noise preferences: Collaborative & Silent.
These include movable furniture, whiteboards, lounge areas, display screens, and bookable spaces (see below).
Collaborative Zone: Floors 3-6
- Great for group work
- Conversation permitted
- Set phone to silent
Silent Zone: Floors 1-2
- Silent study
- No talking
- Set phone to silent
Space Booking
Group study rooms in all of our libraries can be reserved by making an appointment. Use our Space Booking page to find spaces in Cooper Library, Gunnin Architecture Library, Education Media Center, and our branches, as well as the Watt Center and the Academic Success Center.
